At the 2025 Golden Fest Natalie was presented with the HERO Award. Hero is one of the Golden Retrievers that was rescued from a puppy mill. With the determination to never give up,
Hero went through many surgeries, and therapies to become the happy healthy dog that he is today! He is now helping with other fosters with his calming personality.
This award is an annual award that is given to a deserving individual or organization that has gone above and beyond in service to our animal world. An award that reflects the spirit and grit of Hero.
